I am Maria Augusta Tedesco, your financial translator
Later, I decided to make a career change and pursued a graduate degree in English/Portuguese translation. As a linguist, I’ve leveraged my background in business and as a capital markets analyst and specialized in finance/economics translations. Over the years, I’ve worked on a diverse array of projects, translating hundreds of reports and press releases of companies listed at Bovespa – the Brazilian stock exchange, as well as weekly economic reviews, insights, websites, applications, blogs, documents, contracts, training materials, and presentations.
My expertise extends to investments, trade marketing, sales and marketing, human resources, law, codes of conduct, ethics and compliance, corporate governance, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering policies, ESG, FATCA, eCommerce, and eLearning.
I’ve also translated the books “Nice Girls Do Get the Sale” by Elinor Stutz, “Our Choice” by Al Gore, and “Professional Cooking” – Sixth Edition by Wayne Gisslen.
